A Philadelphia woman faces two counts of burglary in connection with the theft of hunting guns, equipment and several miscellaneous items from a vehicle and an outdoor storage shed at separate locations in the Fairview community.

Emily Edwards, 33, of 10070 Highway 393, was charged with burglary of a outdoor storage shed off Highway 21 south where several miscellaneous items were taken.

She is also charged with taking hunting guns and other equipment from a vehicle at a residence on Mississippi 21 south.

“A tip led to her arrest,” Sheriff Tommy Waddell said. “She told officers that she sold the stolen items to individuals on the street. She said she didn’t know who they were.”

Edwards remained in jail at press time. Her bond was set at $20,000.
