The fourth annual Black Rodeo will begin at 6 p.m. on Saturday at the Neshoba County Coliseum.

Rodeo has become one of the fastest growing family-oriented sports among men, women and children.

The event generally consists of calf roping, bull riding, saddle bronco riding, steer wrestling and much, much more.

Each performance is concluded with the crowning of the Champion Team, pictures with the sponsors and officials and paying of the prize money to the winners. Teams normally consist of five men to a team.

Advance tickets can be purchased at Sam's Fashion in Meridian, Williams Brothers in Philadelphia and Parimac Package Store in DeKalb. Tickets are $12 in advance or $17 at the door.
