Four juveniles were charged in connection with a rash of thefts in the city and county over the past few weeks.

Three stolen four wheelers and a stolen dirt bike were recovered in the arrests.

One juvenile was apprehended on a stolen four-wheeler while he was traveling south on Highway 19 towards town, Sheriff Tommy Waddell said.

A Honda dirt bike, reported stolen from a residence in the Sandtown community, was recovered off Ivy Street behind Jerusalem Temple Church.

Two four-wheelers were recovered in a wooded area just off of Chestnut Street. One was originally reported stolen off Deer Creek Drive and the other from a residence in the city.

Three of the juveniles were charged in connection with a series of burglaries at residences along Carla and Terri drives and Knight Street in Country Club Estates and on Holland and Poplar avenues and east Myrtle Street.

The Neshoba County Sheriff’s Department is working closely with the Philadelphia Police Department in the ongoing investigation into the thefts, Waddell said.
