A Philadelphia man was charged with murder after police responded to reports of a stabbing late Thursday night at the County Line Apartments on Mississippi 491 south.

This marks the fourth murder in Neshoba County this year.

Dennis Miller, 37, of 105 St. Francis Dr., was arrested on the scene and later charged with murder, Sheriff Tommy Waddell said.

He remained in the Neshoba County Jail without bond on Tuesday.

The sheriff's department responded to a 911 call late Thursday night around midnight and found 30-year-old Monique Green stabbed to death with multiple wounds to her upper body region, Waddell said.

Authorities believe a domestic dispute led to the stabbing.

Waddell said that Miller originally left the scene, but returned before deputies arrived. Upon their arrival, Miller was apprehended without incident.

While Miller has a Philadelphia address listed, Waddell said that he was living at the County Line Apartments at the time of the incident.

Bond for Miller was denied by Justice Court Judge Brad Stuart at an initial hearing Tuesday morning.

This was the first murder in the county during 2014. There were three this year in the city.
