The Neshoba County Sheriff’s Department has made an arrest in connection with a residential burglary committed in September 2018 in the Mount Olive Community.

NCSD officers arrested James Johnson, 33, of 119041 Highway 21 South, of Philadelphia on one count of burglary.

The burglary was committed at a house on County Road 505. Sheriff Tommy Waddell said that Johnson made entry through a door.

Items taken included a grill, a flat-screen TV and an air compressor.

Waddell said that many of the items have been recovered in Creston in Kemper County.

Waddell said that Johnson remains in the Neshoba County Jail on a hold from the Eighth District Drug Court for a drug court-related violation on no bond.

Waddell said he was in drug court for charges that included the burglary of a shop on Highway 21.
