The Neshoba Central NJROTC competed at the Warren Central "Viking Classic" Drill meet with nine schools on Saturday,  Nov. 3 and brought home the  overall first place trophy.

Team trophies include:

First place in Armed Basic drill, commanded by Ryan Gardner; first place in Armed Exhibition drill, commanded by Thomas Fincher; first place in Color Guard, commanded by Thomas Fincher; first place in Unarmed Basic drill, commanded by Morgan Shingler; first place in Unarmed Exhibition, commanded by Morgan Shingler; and first place in Personnel Inspection, commanded by Thomas Fincher. 

Athletic team trophies include:  second place in the 1600 yard relay and third place in the 8 by 220 relay.

Individual medal winners include:  first place Male Pushups-Dylan Belk,  third place Male Pushups - Corey Banks, first place Female Pushups - Mickayla Kaszubowski, second place Female Pushups - Chelsea Clay, first place Male Situps - Dylan Belk, third place Male Situps- Ryan Gardner, and third place Female situps - Morgan Shingler.  The Athletic Team captain is Rene Taylor.

In academics first place Peyton Williamson, second place Brandy Gentry, and third place Thomas Farmer. 

The unit's next competition is at Tulane Universtity, "The Battle of New Orleans" on Nov. 17.
