After receiving complaints about illegal drug activity, a Philadelphia man was arrested on felony and misdemeanor drug charges.

Sheriff Tommy Waddell said his department arrested Terry Hoskins, 48, of 2136A Railroad Avenue, last Friday and charged him with possession of cocaine with intent to sell and misdemeanor possession of marijuana.

"Some people had been complaining about illegal drug activity," Waddell said. "We then went to the Martin Luther King Drive residence with a search warrant."

Hoskins remains in jail Monday. His bond was set at $50,000.

In an unrelated case, authorities arrested Thomas Staats, 25, of 14430 Highway 15 North, after a routine traffic stop on Valley View Drive.

Staats is charged with possession of methamphetamine.
