The Choctaw Central Warriors took two victories last week in prep baseball action.

The Warrior defeated Philadelphia 6-4 and then took an 11-10 win over Noxapater. The Warriors also dropped an 8-2 decision to Forest.

The Warriors now stand at 6-10 overall and 2-6 in the region standings. They were to play Choctaw County on Tuesday at Southeast Lauderdale on Thursday.

The Warriors scored all of their runs in the fourth inning.

Brandon Kennedy was the winning pitcher. He had eight strike outs while pitching in relief of Demarquis Wilson.

Dalen Wheeler led the Warriors with a double and a single.

Forest 8

The Bearcats kept up a steady attack in their win over Choctaw Central.

Forest scored one in the first, one in the second, three in the third, two in the sixth and one In the seventh. Choctaw Central scored two in the sixth.

Dalen Wheeler took the pitching loss.

Brandon Kennedy led with two hits.

The Warriors got off to a good start and then held off a Noxapater rally in the seventh inning.

Choctaw Central scored four in the first, one in the third, one in the fourth, two in the fifth and three in the seventh. Noxapater scored one in the first, one in the third, three in the fourth and five in the seventh.

Dakota Hicks was the winning pitcher. He had six strikeouts.

Kennedy and Dylan Wheeler both had a double to lead the Warriors.
