Rebels looking for answers at the plate

That's how Leake Academy Coach Josh Ray summed up his baseball team's progress at this point. Last week was a long one for the Leake Academy baseball team as they went 0-4. The Rebels stand at 5-7 overall but 0-4 in the district.
"We are struggling at the plate right now," Ray said. "We aren't getting the timely hits and are leaving too many runners on the bases. We will just have to keep working and play our way out of this."
The Rebels have two district games with Canton Academy on Tuesday and Thursday. They take on Simpson Academy at home on Friday and visit Winona Christian on Saturday.
