A growing number of business and political leaders say they support considering more than one option to finance construction of a new county hospital. Are you for:

Please select one:
A single public financing option
Including a private-sector option
Selling it!
Not doing anything. Our hospital is great.

Newspaper Banned At Nursing Home
By DEBBIE BURT MYERS
Managing Editor

Complimentary delivery of The Neshoba Democrat to the county nursing home, a practice that has been going on for at least three decades, was terminated by the hospital administration on Monday.

A Philadelphia business providing the service was banned from distributing complimentary copies of the Democrat to residents at the Neshoba County Nursing Home.

"A representative from the hospital called today and asked me not to deliver any more papers to Neshoba General Hospital so I'm going to have to obey her wishes and not send any more papers," the businessman said.

"It's no problem on my part. It's just a form of advertising but she called me out of the clear blue and asked me not to do that any more," the man said.

Hospital Administrator Karin Fiducia did not return telephone calls to a Democrat reporter.

This doesn't make any sense. I hope the Democrat digs a little deeper to discover why this is happening.
