Two former employees at Pearl River Resort have been indicted in federal court for embezzlement.
In addition, a former customer was indicted on three-counts of passing counterfeit bills.
Nicholas LeFlore, 30, of Carthage, a former employee at Silver Star Casino, was indicted for embezzling in excess of $1,000 on or about March 14, 2008.
His bail was set at $10,000. A trial date was set for Nov. 23.
Natasha Bell, a former employee of the Golden Moon Casino, was indicted for embezzling in excess of $1,000 on or about Sept. 10, 2008.
Bond for Bell, 26, of Philadelphia, was set at $10,000. She is scheduled to stand trial on Nov. 30.
If found guilty, Bell and LeFlore could be fined up to $1 million and/or sentenced to up to 20 years.
The customer, Travis Hall, was indicted for three counts of passing counterfeit bills at the Resort casinos on or about Sept. 4, 5 and 21.
He was being held in Madison County awaiting arraignment.
The grand jury returned the indictments in the U. S. District Court, Southern District of Mississippi, Eastern Division.
The indictments on LeFlore and Bell were filed on Sept. 3. Hall's indictment was filed on Oct. 7.
