A free weekly magazine centered on the arts, entertainment and culture will debut this week in East Mississippi.
Philly.ms will publish its first edition on Friday.
The Philly is a publication of The Neshoba Democrat and will be available where the newspaper is sold as well as other outlets throughout the region.
The magazine, which will be published every Friday, will include reviews, movie listings, commentary, previews and listings of upcoming events as well as personality profiles and stories of interest.
"The intent is to provide a fun, casual read, nothing too serious, just entertainment and culture," said James E. Prince III, editor and publisher of the Democrat.
The Philly will be available to guests at area hotels and motels and be placed in restaurants as well.
"The Philly will promote Neshoba County and especially encourage the millions of visitors who pass through the Pearl River Resort to return to our community," Prince said.
