Police are searching for a man weilding a gun who robbed the Sonic off Beacon Street Nov. 1.
Authorities are looking for a black male, about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing between 200 and 210 pounds, in connection with the incident.
A masked man, wearing all black clothing, entered the Sonic about 10:45 p.m. as employees were leaving, the authorities said.
"He ran in the front door and pulled a gun on the manager," said Chief of Police Dickie Sistrunk.
"He led the manager to a back office, made her pull the money out of a drawer, then he ran out the door," Sistrunk said.
Witnesses reported seeing the man run toward the Sonic business office and then across the library parking lot, he said.
The police incident report was not made available to The Neshoba Democrat until this week because the police chief was out the after the robbery occurred.
Persons with information on the Sonic robbery are asked to call PPD at 601-656-2131.
