Absentee Voting will be available Saturday, Nov. 23, from 8 a.m.-noon in the Circuit Clerk's Office for the runoff election for Mississippi Supreme Court District 1 (Central) Position 3.

State Sen. Jenifer Branning of Philadelphia is facing off against incumbent Jim Kitchens in the contest.

Polls are open on Tuesday, Nov. 26, from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. for the runoff.

Branning led with about 41.8 percent or 132,240 votes, while incumbent Mississippi Supreme Court Justice Jim Kitchens received 35.6 percent or 112,935 votes.

In Neshoba County, Branning led with 8,437 votes, outpacing Kitchens, Bryon Carter, Ceola James, and Abby Gale Robinson. 

Kitchens received 1,090 votes, Carter 545, James 256, and Robinson 207.
