Griffis Motors gives seniors $1K college scholarships

Griffis Motors in Philadelphia is continuing its long tradition of giving a $1,000 scholarship to the graduating seniors of its employees.

This year’s recipients are Jordan Kabore, son of Alain and Kara Kabore, and Sanders Griffis, son of Wright and Leslie Griffis. 

Kabore will be attending Ole Miss in the fall with plans to major in public policy leadership with future plans to attend law school. 

Griffis will be going to East Mississippi Community College on a baseball scholarship. He plans to attend Mississippi State afterwards and explore a degree in business administration. 

Both students are currently seniors at Neshoba Central High School.
