While many people were getting ready for the Neshoba County Fair and all of its fun, others were getting ready for the new school year in various area schools.
Philadelphia High School "Popping in With the Principal" invited students and parents to "pop in with Principal Drake." Principal Drake is new to Philadelphia this year. Those attending received what else but bags of popcorn ready to eat!
Philadelphia Elementary School invited parents and students to attend "Popping in With the Principal.” Principal Spurlock and Assistant Principal Pilgrim met and conversed with parents and students who will attend PES in August. This year’s theme is “Tornadoes to the Top!” Popcorn was given to all attendees.
