Missing man found dead near his home
A Neshoba County man reported missing has been located deceased.
The man, Jason Towery, 43, went missing on Saturday, Dec. 28, from his residence on Road 115 northwest of Union, Neshoba County Sheriff Eric Clark said.
The man was located on an adjoining piece of property on Monday, Dec. 30, at about 3:30 p.m. by his stepfather and a volunteer firefighter, Clark said, noting he had died of an apparent self-inflicted injury.
“He was found a few hundred yards northwest of his residence,” Clark said.
