Two people have been arrested for allegedly stealing items dontated for the needy outside a thift store.

The two suspects are Sean Dennis Crocker, 40, and Erin E. Vance, 29, of 11053 Road 355, Union, according to Neshoba County Sheriff Eric Clark.

They were arrested by Ndeputies Sunday evening for allegedly stealing items left outside of Born Again Bargains on Main Street earlier that day, Clark said.

They face petit larceny charges from the Philadelphia Police Department, Chief Eric Lyons said.

Clark said they were both in drug court and would likely be found to be in violation of the terms.

Clark said they were arrested Sunday night at the Road 355 address at about 7:15 p.m.

They were seen taking items and loading them into a grey SUV. Lyons said his department has video.

A vehicle description and tag number were obtained from the video and Crocker and Vance were identified as suspects.

“Police collaborated with the Neshoba SO who went to the Union address associated with Vance and the tag info but no contact was made at the residence at that time,” Lyons said.

A Sheriff’s deputy watched the address and made the arrest later that evening.

Lyons said the items stolen were donations that had not yet been processed. Lyons said investigators are working to determine what specifically was taken.

Lyons said the owners are “thankful for the amount of support and attention the public showed to their business in help in finding these individuals.”
