A Neshoba County Schools staff member was terminated Monday after “allegations involving inappropriate conduct,” the school district announced in a press release Wednesday morning.

“Upon receiving this information, the district took immediate action to comply with all legal requirements, promptly reporting the matter to the appropriate authorities, including law enforcement, Child Protective Services, and the District Attorney’s Office,” the release said.

Neshoba parents were discussing the issue on social media.

Neshoba County Sheriff Eric Clark told the Democrat, “We are investigating the charges and have requested a probable cause hearing per MS 99-3-28.”
