Ruth Esther Greer

Memorial service for Mrs. Ruth Esther Calloway-Greer will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at 11 A.M. from Poplar Springs Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be at W.C. Calloway Memorial Cemetery. Beck Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Greer, 79, of Philadelphia, passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian.

She is survived by her husband, Rev. Tommy C. Greer of Philadelphia, MS, seven children, Shirl Mays, Gwendolyn Bryant, Everett Sledge, Dion Sledge, Roderick Sledge, Catrina Sledge, and Sean Bye, three stepchildren, Tommy Greer, Jr., Kay Rush and Lorenzo Dexter Greer, seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren, two sisters, and one brother.
