Zaxby’s set to open here on Monday
Saucy chicken chain Zaxby’s is celebrating the opening of its newest location, 1102 Central Ave., in Philadelphia, next week.
The new Zaxby’s is owned and operated by out-of-town investors Kevin Shields and Jody Bradley of the Windward Group, LLC, under Philadelphia Chicken, LLC.
The restaurant will be open for dine-in and drive-thru service starting Monday, Dec. 9.
“We are thrilled to be opening our newest location in Philadelphia. The town has been very hospitable, accommodating, and encouraging throughout our construction process,” Shields said in a release. “Our Zaxby’s family is anxious to grow within the community of Philadelphia and looks forward to serving hot, fresh chicken with a warm and welcoming smile!”
Spanning 2,500 square feet, the new Zaxbys has 56 seats for dine-in guests and a double-lane drive-thru for expedited service. Customers may order ahead online via zaxbys.com and through Zaxby’s mobile app for curbside pickup.
Ordering for delivery is also available directly through the app.
Zaxbys serves fresh, prepared-at-order Chicken Fingerz and wings tossed in a variety of bold and spicy sauces, as well as its wildly popular Chicken Bacon Ranch Loaded Fries and the brand's fan-favorite Fried Pickles.
Most recently, Zaxbys has leveled up its menu with newly designed Zax Packz to house the ultimate meals-on-the-go in one box together, available in two variations, including Chicken Fingerz Zax Packz and Boneless Wings Zax Packz.
Zaxby’s has also refreshed its core menu to include the return of four fan-favorite, limited-time offerings, The Asian Zensation Zalad, Veggie Egg Rolls, The Blue Zalad, and Fried Cheesecake Bites, as permanent menu items available at all locations.
This is the group’s third Zaxby’s location in Mississippi. They contracted with Dimension Construction out of Memphis to construct the building here.
The restaurant is expected to provide up to 50 new jobs. Visit zaxbys.com/careers to apply.
