Morton couple arrested with drugs

A man and woman from Morton were arrested after a traffic stop yielded drugs on Friday around lunchtime.

A divorced couple was arrested with drugs and paraphernalia during a traffic stop last week near Dixon, according to Neshoba County Sheriff Eric Clark.

Federal aid could help repair 21 homes damaged in Neshoba County and across the region during April storms, Gov. Tate Reeves announced.

No injuries were reported when a Philadelphia Police car responding to a call on Friday collided with a pickup truck hauling wood at a traffic signal downtown.
