The Philadelphia Neshoba County Arts Council will be presenting the hit Broadway Musical “Into the Woods” in the Historic Ellis Theater this month.

"You will encounter many of your favorite fairytale characters through the story of a baker and his wife,” said Terri Donald, PNC Arts Council executive director. “This show will teach us about wishes, family, and the choices we make.”

Serving as co-directors, Tim Moore and Kinsey Goldman are poised to transport the audience into an enchanting world with this immersive plot.

As a result of the curse of a once-beautiful witch, a baker and his wife are childless. Three days before the rise of a blue moon, they venture into the forest to find the ingredients that will reverse the spell and restore the witch’s beauty: a milk-white cow, hair as yellow as corn, a blood-red cape, and a slipper of gold.

During their journey, they meet Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel, and Jack, each one on a quest to fulfill a wish.

The ensemble features a talented cast of performers, including Andrea Moore as the Witch, Kinsey Goldman as the Baker, Morgan Jay as the Baker's Wife, Libby Davidson portraying Cinderella, Jacob Winters as Jack, Calleigh Weems embodying Little Red Riding Hood, Kenny Hillman as the Narrator), Patt Fiedler as the Mysterious Man, Carol Fiedler in the role of Jack’s Mother, Caleb Jay as Cinderella’s Prince, Sarah Alice Fulton as Rapunzel, and Brandon Davidson taking on the dual roles of Rapunzel’s Prince and The Big Bad Wolf.

Additionally, the cast includes Kim Kilpatrick as Cinderella’s Stepmother, Posey Palmer as Florinda, Abbi Baysinger as Lucinda, Nelwyn Brantley portraying Red's Grandmother, Cinderella's Mother, and the Voice of the Giant, with Craig Stevens rounding out the ensemble as the Steward.
