East Central announced a delayed start on Wednesday.

Choctaw Indian Chief Cyrus Ben issued a statement Tuesday night regarding the closure of non-essential Tribal government offices, Choctaw Tribal Schools, and Early Childhood Centers due to wintry weather conditions.

Gov. Tate Reeves has declared a State of Emergency because of the winter storm.

Philadelphia Police on Tuesday advised residents to stay home.

The Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians advised everyone to stay home on Tuesday.
