Former legislator laid to rest

A former Philadelphia alderman and state legislator was laid to rest Tuesday at the age of 90.
Shelton “Buck” Bounds, a Korean War veteran, served two terms as a Philadelphia alderman and one term in the Mississippi House of Representatives.
For the last 15 years Bounds served as a volunteer with the Neshoba General Hospital Auxiliary.
