Police seeking info into Sherwood shooting

Multiple shots fired into a residence on Sherwood Drive have police searching for suspects.

“We have no new information into possible suspects at this time,” said Philadelphia Police Chief Eric Lyons.

Lyons said PPD received reports of shots fired into a residence on Sherwood Drive near Robinhood Circle on Friday, Feb. 9, at about 7 p.m. 

Officers responded to the area where reports of about seven shots were fired with several striking the front of a residence. According to Lyons, several people were inside the residence including children, although no one was injured.
