Just Among Friends

Congratulations to Maggie Taylor who is the winner of the 2024 Merit Scholarship, an award given to a student of a Mississippi bank employee by the Mississippi Bankers Association. She is the daughter of Mark Taylor, Senior VP and COO at The Citizens Bank of Philadelphia, and Judge Amy Kilpatrick Taylor.

Maggie is a senior at Neshoba Central High School where she is a member of the soccer team, student council, and multiple honor societies.  She plans to attend the University of Mississippi in the fall. Congratulations!

Precious Emery Kollyns Henderson made her grand debut into the world on March 11, weighing 5 pounds and 9 ounces of sweetness. She was welcomed with joy by her parents, Kyle and Cheyenne Henderson. Her big sister welcomed her from her grandmother's house due to a respiratory infection. Congratulations!

Happy thirty-second anniversary to Byron and Chiquita Moore Jones who celebrated in Pensacola, Florida. The couple had a good time relaxing and sampling great food while touring the area. Congratulations and best wishes for many more!

Neshoba Central High School's February Student of the Month for the 11th grade is  Barrett Knight. Barrett works hard on his grades and extracurricular activities but is also easygoing. He is the son of Shane and Heather Anderson Knight. Congratulations!

The Syd Williams family was delighted to have their son, John, and his son, Calvin, visiting them for several days from Montana. The extended family was also excited to see them. He is the son of Syd and Mickie Williams.

Adorable Mia Manning Hasty arrived on March 6, weighing 7 pounds and 4 ounces of perfection. Her very thankful parents welcomed her with love. They are Tyler and Alisha Li Hasty of Oxford. Congratulations!
