ALZHEIMER’S A
WARENESS PROGRAM
Neshoba County Extension will be hosting an Alzheimer's Awareness Program on March 14th at 10 a.m. in the Multipurpose room located in the Neshoba County Coliseum. This program will be beneficial to caregivers, older adults, or caretakers of their elderly family members. This program will be free to attend. Mr. Jimmy Henderson, an Alzheimer's Foundation member, will be presenting on the " 10 Warning Signs of Alzheimer's".

PRE-K REGISTRATION
Philadelphia Elementary School Pre-K Registration 2024-2025
To register a child for the pre-k, guardians must provide:
A.) two (2) current proofs of residency in Philadelphia Public School District with the same address
1.) IF RENTING/LEASING: Current official home/apartment lease/rental agreement with length of lease and Parent's or Guardian's name included on lease/rental agreement and notarized
2.) Filed Homestead Exemption application form OR Current mortgage document or property deed
3.) Valid driver's license OR voter identification card
4.) Current utility bill (dated within 60 days) showing the service location with parent's or guardian's name listed - Acceptable bills: electricity, gas, water, or landline telephone
5.) Automobile Registration receipt
6.) Property Tax Card, Property Deed, or other document that states the residency property's Section, Township, and Range
B.) the child’s certified birth certificate from Mississippi State Department of Health Vital Records (601-206-8200) (child must be 4 years of age on or before September 1, 2024).
C. the child’s MS certificate of immunization compliance form
‘A DATE WITH ELVIS’
Come to the Ellis Theater on Feb. 14, 2024 at 8:00 PM for "A Date with Elvis" featuring the movie "Viva Las Vegas" hosted by Angie Marchese, VP of Archives and Exhibits at Graceland. Be sure to check out Elvis's 1956 Gibson guitar on display in the Borchetta Lobby for one night only. LINWOOD CAR SHOW
Linwood’s 5th Annual Car & Truck Show & Chitlin Fundraiser will be held Saturday Feb. 24th. Registration begins at 7 a.m. Bikes and Tractors welcome. Chitlin and pulled pork Sandwich plates will be ready at 11 a.m. Car and Bike Clubs welcome. 11971 Rd. 325 Union, Ms. 39365

Fairview Volunteer Fire Department will hold it's annual meeting February 18th at 3:00 pm. We encourage our community to attend.
4-H FISHING CLUB
The Neshoba County 4-H Fishing Club Interest Meeting will be held on March 12, 2024, at the Neshoba County Coliseum. This program will be available to youth ages 8-18.
